Dr. Charalampos Drosos is a high-end mechanical engineer, with profound background in design, simulation and manufacturing of CVD reactors with strong links and collaborations in Industrial, Academia and R&D sector. His doctoral degree under the supervision of Prof. Ivan P. Parkin (Dean of MAPS – University College London), was based on the investigation of Chemical Vapour Deposition for thin films of metal oxides on glass substrates. At this stage, he designed, manufactured, simulated a complicated system of a novel coupling between an APCVD reactor and a Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer for in-situ analysis of an important number of precursors for producing and monitoring thin films for industrial purposes.

He has vast experience in mechanical and materials engineering whilst being a strong complex problem-solver with expertise in Thin Films, Engineering Design, Materials Science, Nanomaterials & Nanodevices, Battery Materials & Devices and Computational Fluid Dynamics.

He currently is the Head of Research & Development at Delta Nanο – Engineering Solutions (United Kingdom & Cyprus), whereas DNES Cyprus is appointed as General Representative of Greece and Cyprus for Battery2030 Plus, a European large-scale initiative to create the Batteries of the Future.
